When you start sketching, concentrate on the relationship between the figures & the surroundings. The most common mistake students make is the absence of perspective & the lack of 3rd Dimension, which makes the composition flat & unnatural. Second major problem is inappropriate proportion between two forms eg. Making the jug small & the glass bigger, which is wrong proportion.
